Hello, my name is Duane Charles. In early 2025, I had an idea for a company called Rise-N- Kill Outdoors. I am an avid outdoorsman, even though I am not highly experienced, only learning how to hunt about 10 years ago. I did grow up fishing with my dad and my grandfather as a kid.  They hunted, but I never got to make those hunts. I have always had a passion for God’s creation.

I am the type of guy who can sit and stare at a tree and be amazed at the beauty of how a mighty oak can spread its limbs out so thick and so wide and maintain so much strength. Some of my best and favorite moments in life are sitting in a deer blind, watching the sun rise and then watching it set later on that evening. Hearing nature come to life, seeing the deer pop out of the woods, a coyote go by in the distance. I even enjoy the annoying disturbance of the wild hogs coming through.

My love for the outdoors made me want to build the perfect blind. The blind that I would want to sit in every day, watching that sun rise and set. Watching God’s creation come to life and go back to sleep. The blind that I sit in with my rifle in hand, waiting on the right deer to come by and put food on my family’s table. 

I want to build something unique and reliable. Something that not only you will get to sit in and enjoy, but your grandchildren as well. Something that won’t just have a few stories come out of it, but a lifetime’s worth of stories.

We now live in a world where very few men understand what this legacy and this privilege really mean. My goal with Rise and Kill Outdoors is to keep that legacy strong among families, to preserve what it means to hunt and gather your own food, to know the sense of accomplishment that comes from not needing a grocery store to feed your family, and to understand what it means to help tend to God’s creation.

Gentlemen, it’s time to live out the command given to Peter in the book of Acts.
It’s time to rise, kill, and eat.
